Greenville Council Petition
Sign our petition and demand that the Greenville County Council revoke the Greenville Women’s Clinic Business License, shutting it down!
WHEREAS, all human life begins at fertilization, created in the image of God; and
WHEREAS, the government’s first and most important duty is to protect innocent human life; and
WHEREAS, over 100,000 innocent babies have been murdered through legalized abortion at the Greenville Women’s Clinic since 1973; and
WHEREAS, the South Carolina State Legislature has failed to enact just laws that would shut down abortion centers such as the Greenville Women’s Clinic; and
WHEREAS, Greenville County has the authority to suspend or revoke any business registration whose business constitutes a public nuisance; and
WHEREAS, according to the Community Crime Map there were 82 incidents within 500 feet of the business located at 1142 Grove Rd from June 1, 2023 to November 29, 2023, and there were 45 Simple Assaults from October 5, 2021 to October 23, 2023, and 7 breach of peace/disturbance calls from November 3, 2021 to November 30, 2022, and 10 malicious damages incidents from March 12, 2022 to September 7, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff’s Office has reported that it responded to the business on more than 300 occasions, resulting in approximately 20 arrests;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we call on the Greenville County Administrator to direct the Department of General Services to institute proceedings to terminate and revoke the registration of the business located at 1142 Grove Road, Greenville SC, shutting the business down permanently.
